Julie Lavin Fine Art is a New York-based privately owned art business. We specialize in the buying and selling of paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings and photographs by several of the world's leading Modern and Contemporary artists. We are dedicated to providing expert guidance to experienced or beginner art collectors. Our role is instrumental in assisting individuals and corporations with building a high-quality art collection.
For nearly a decade, Julie's business insight was honed in the Financial Services Industry. As a graduate of Mount Holyoke College where she studied art history, she spent several years as marketing director for the Institutional business at Fidelity Investments. Thanks to a successful career in the corporate world, Julie then moved to Paris to pursue her long-standing passion for fine art. With her newly acquired European acumen and advanced degree from the Royal Society of Arts, Julie returned to the States and spent several years working with two leading New York art galleries before establishing Julie Lavin Fine Art. She was one of the founding members and co-chairs of The Associates Committee of the ADAA, an organization dedicated to educating emerging art collectors. She and her husband currently live in New York and Miami.
